Apothecary and Shop of Charms
Threadbare rugs struggle in vain to retain the modesty of the creaking
wooden floor of this old building. Behind the long counter along the north
side of the room sit row on row of shelves filled with peculiar odds and
ends, elixirs of questionable potency and use, salves, creams, balms, oils,
and reagents of unknown origin. The guild is quick to sell its wares, even
the most useless, in order to drain the city's wealth into its own pockets,
making wild claims about the properties of any concoction you take the
slightest interest in. To the west the doorway leads out to the street.
To the south lies the rest of the guild.

A hired sword stands here, blocking the doorway to the south.
