7009, Should you step out when summoned?
Posted by Ganked down on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
Someone has summoned you! You step out of the shadows.
As a thief any duergar that summons you pulls you out of the shadows...
Leaving any number of groupmates able to see you and whack you instantly. Since the staff seem to be against gangs, why not let the thief stay hidden when summoned?
Why not add a small lag to all in the room when someone is summoned?
It still leaves locked doors and so on for summon ganks to take advantage of.
A thief.

By design. Hide isn't turning transparent- it's using your surroundings to stay out of sight. If someone plucks you out of one place and dumps you in another, you're no longer hidden.

What is with magical Invisibility? As far as I have seen you also step out of it if summoned.

Orumous the Strong fades out of existence.
(I move somewhere else.)
c summon orumous Orumous the Strong arrives suddenly.
look Park Road The road runs past the southern entrance to the park here. A large gap in the trees shows the lush green meadow beyond. The courtyard of the Temple of the Sun lies to the south through a large gate. The park road continues to the east and west. (Exits: north east south west) (Invis) With arms the size of trees, an enormous dwarf struts around yelling challenges.
