The dark forest
Ancient trees surround you rising towards the gloomy skies of this
accursed land. Somewhere off in the distance the howl of a wolf is
answered by others of the pack. The moss-covered floor of the forest
is covered in a thin mist that is so pervasive here. To the north,
and east the dark forest continues. To the west the stone of a mountain
blocks any passage.

There are places where you can scan (as if there was an exit there) but there is no exit to travel through. This is by design.
