This is an odd situation that I don't know qualifies as a real bug or not, but here it is anyway. My groupmate dies and comes back, tries to strangle this mob twice. I only saved the first attempt because it was the one that surprised me. Look:

Groupie creeps up on an elite elven guardsman and applies a firm stranglehold.
Groupie fails to get a firm grip, and an elite elven guardsman frees himself with a sharp elbow to Groupie's chest!
The gods protect Groupie from an elite elven guardsman.

Now, if the strangle misses or does damage, the mob hits the person as would be expected. I just feel like this is an oversight on the ghostly and strangle code, where you get a free shot in the *worst-case* scenario.
