Strengthen doesn't work on material plant.

What error message do you get? Plant is on the list of materials, and always has been. Might be something else blocking it.

It was a primitive fertility mask if that helps. I'll try to get you the message too.

Certain wear-slots (face included) are not large enough to provide sufficient protection. Strengthen has worked that way since those wear slots were introduced.
