In certain room in one of mazes of Hardan Wood description says that there is way to east and examine say that there is trail, but you can't go there.

A mountain path
The sky opens up before you as the forest thins. Rocks jut up from the
mountainous terrain as loose pebbles pelt you incessantly. Tiny tufts
of brown grass emerge from occasional crevices as wind wrought cyclones
of living wood dot the landscape. A cold biting gale surrounds you,
mercilessly throwing you to the earth and threatening to banish you from
the mountain completely. A small dirt trail emerges from the stone
leading further into the mountains to the east.
