I'm a human with max dexterity and charisma. Before taking the swashbuckler edge I fought the Scarab outer until it died, counted the attacks that weren't parried, and then checked how many I dodged. Then I took the edge and repeated the same fight under the same conditions. In both fights there were about 100 attacks that weren't parried and both times I dodged about 50% of them.

Is it possible swashbuckler got broken somehow? Or is there something special about that mob that made it not have any effect?

Just because you'll generally dodge better doesn't mean it'll always appear as if you're always dodging better.


If your charisma is higher than your dex, that edge *ALWAYS* improves your dodging.
