After a lot of experimenting, no amount of head or face armor seems to help block or reduce lag of gorilla face punch. It has never missed and it has never not lagged like trip. Size also hasn't seemed to matter.

I can't test any more due to donated constitutional limits so I wonder if it's a bug.

As per gameplay, I will make a separate post, but no invoker shields work against it either, like one would think shield of waves or earth might.
