Ok, it's another goblin post, but anyway, doesn't seem like templar's defense should block arrows then return an attack.
(also seems like a hiltsmash would require you to be closer to opponent that being mounted would allow)
This potential bug is reported purely in the greater interest of a balanced and nuanced mud experience, and has nothing to do with any selfish desire for an edge toward success.

Spent some time thinking on it, and given what exactly all the templarsdefense moves are doing, I ended up agreeing with you.
So from hereon out, templars defense won't work against people wielding bows.
