commune 'blessed remission' <character>

This supplication can be focused on a single target or
on the entire paladin's group. It will hold all the negative
affects on the affected in abeyance. The affects are not
cured, and the duration does not shorten, but they will not
affect the person while in remission.

Below is a log of using it against scourge of mosquitoes. I have also used it against neurological poison from venom shaman
and insect swarm. In the case of neurological poison, it just freezes the poison timer for the duration of the remission,
but you still can't walk straight, i.e. it's not actually in abeyance. Against insect swarm, it stops the hourly damage,
but potions of recall still don't work. That's also not abeyance. And against scourge of mosquitoes, as you can see below, it literally did absolutely nothing. It also doesn't suspend stat maledictions at all, but just freezes their timers for a while. So far, the only thing I've seen it do much to assist is Malice.

Let's break it down!

1) Blessed remission now applies to scourge of mosquitoes
2) As the helpfile says, it doesn't cure anything - it's not making you 100% immune to the affects, it's just holding off some of the painful parts
3) Freezing stuff can be nifty.
