22294, Enslave/Pull bug?
Posted by Jarmel on Wed 31-Dec-69 07:00 PM
From the help file ...

Using bullying and coercion an Orc can force goblins, kobolds, or
lesser orcs or ogres into service. Only one such enslaved creature
will stay with the Orc at a time. The enslaved will look for any
opening to flee from its service, but will aid the Orc in battle
while still under a watchful eye.

Tried to keep this short and cut the starts and the end. I can give more info.

Fighting and winning at 5pm so I would have assumed the mob would have run away as per help file. But no another tick passes and then the mob attacks.

Your interpretation isn't necessarily how it should work.
Some things make their slaves run off.
Some things don't.

Can you look at the bug that allows their slaves to stay around if they die while the slave is out of the room but allows them to still be enslaved and following the orc when they return.

I had multiple orcs that I fought down to the wire and killed... end up being able to kill me because their slaves would begin following them when they returned as a ghost and they'd lead them into me over and over to finish me off. This is especially bad with that one slave with the iron polearm who can cut you off.

Someone else already reported this somewhere in there.

I have mixed feelings about how it should work, but it's not a quick-fix so I'm avoiding it for now.
