When another Acolyte calls Favor of the sun on you, you only get the 'xx resistance' affect.

But when you yourself call it, you always get both affects.

The help file actually says there's a possibility for the resistance affect, but I read this as the difference between being an Acolyte or a Scribe (because as a Scribe I never got the resistance affect).

I can dig up a log if needed.


'FAVOR OF THE SUN' (2789)

Syntax: call 'favor of the sun'

This power of the Acolytes of the Golden Sun will grant all members of their
group the favor of the sun. This provides some basic damage reduction and
also has the possibility to provide resistance to disease, poison, negative or
mental damage. Mental energy is consumed to maintain the favor of the sun on
all party members when it is stressed.

The caster has two affects while casting on someone else will only place one affect.
