The startling cry of a golden eagle echoes nearby.
You spit a cone of webbing from your mouth at a golden eagle!
Your web lands solidly on a golden eagle, entangling his body!
So shortly after this, I attacked and he flew off right away.
If it isn't a really short duration, should this be possible?

That spell doesn't always ground a flying target, and would give a different echo if it did.
