Barren Fields
The sky above you seems clenched in turmoil, dark shades of blue fading,
slowly, so slowly into a dry blackness that hangs over all, unaffected by
the occasional dry breeze. Around you is a gray landscape. North and east
the dusky land stretches on. To your west are the mountains, and to your
south the trail.

Dried up tufts of wheat lie scattered on the ground.

A small break within the mountain base is open here allowing passage towards a
bramble-filled path.
