2073, Circles of Protection

Not sure if this has been brought up before or not. But a Nightgaunt can be sent after a conjurer who is standing in a Thaumaagric circle. Now the way I understand it, the circle protects you against conjurerd angels, demons, etc. Why would a nightgaunt be able to pass over this circle to attack you while the circle remains? Should they not be repelled. Nightgaunt is from aggressive conjurer. Same for elementals and divines. Should they be able to attack you through a circle. Your own can't, so why would nothers? Sorta defeats the purpose of a circle.

Because circles of protection are tied to the conjurer. If you create a circle of protection, it protects you from what you are about to conjure, not from every little thing that can be conjured. This is by design.
