Not sure if this is by design or oversight but scan all causes 6 chances for the space legacy to fire.
You develop awareness of a venomous cobra's vital points, to better land harsh blows. A venomous cobra dodges your punch. A venomous cobra twists herself around your punch. Your punch EVISCERATES a venomous cobra! You parry a venomous cobra's bite. You parry a venomous cobra's bite. A venomous cobra is covered with bleeding wounds.

Scan all is a short cut for the *player* to scan each of the six directions, but the *character* still has to scan them one by one.
