You butcher the burnt corpse of the blood beast and create 2 steaks.

A mangled corpse is in no condition to be butchered.

Just wondering if that is a bug, my butcher skills is at 75.

Not sure what you think the bug is here. After you butchered the first corpse, the mangled corpse was what was left. It couldn't be butchered further.

ah, ok. I just thought butcher got rid of the corpse. thanks for the info

They changed it a while back so it wouldnt defeat corpse guard. Before they did a lowbie ranger could walk up and butcher an out of range char's corpse and then the pk winner couldnt corpse guard because all the gear would be on the ground for the taking.
