The dire wolves from Pine Forest will follow you into the Octagonal tower if you leave the door open. Once they're inside, they still camouflage during the day (as they would in the forest), even though they're in civilized terrain.

I don't have a log, but it should be easy to reproduce. Just lead a dire wolf into the tower during daylight, then walk into the room where he's at and you'll see him "step out of his cover" when he attacks.
