Inside the Base Camp
The smell of burning campfires and drying meat fills the air within the
base camp. To the west, a large gate forged of iron and oak has been
set upon sturdy hinges. The stone of the western ramparts has been
formed into a large arch with ladders leading up each side to small
watchtowers. Dwarven guards and workers meander about the compound.
The sounds of labor and drill mingle in the air about you. The stone
floor of the camp appears to have been worn smooth by years of use. The
compound continues all around you.
