Should I be able to forage when I can't eat/drink out of form to sate my disrupted organs hunger/thirst? Or will I pretty much just be stuck with that until the effect wears off?

A Wizard's Workshop
This is the prototypical workshop for one who does magical experiments. The
walls are lined with bookshelves, mirrors and on one wall a large piece of slate
covered with arcane symbols and writing. In the center is a workbench with a
series of drawers and shelves. The bench is stained with the results of many
hours of careful experimentation and vials and flasks line the edges in
carefully carved receptacles. A comfortable looking chair sits in the corner
with a small ball of light floating above it. A ladder leans against the south
wall leading up to the attic.

A Faint Path in the Forest
The path continues to the east and to the west. The trees seem to have been
pushed back against their will and almost struggle to retake the path, but for
now they fail in this mission. To the south is a small building and to the
north the forest appears too dense to enter.
