When you're flying and in champion's stand, if you get hit with bouyancy, you can get knocked out of champion's stand by "the force of the blow" the next time you get hit.

From the helpfile on champions stand...
Once the paladin has determined to make his stand he
cannot be moved from the spot in any way.
