A Collapsed Stairway
Broken fragments of stone flood half the stairway leading to the basement,
permanently sealing entry to the lower floors. Various bits of jewelry,
clothing and weapons have been wedged or crushed beneath the angry flood
of stone, indicating that vibrant life once flourished in this place.
Bearing an alarming likeness to dried blood, the shredded carpet lies
scattered about the floor. The ceiling is badly scarred and scratched
here, with murals of fully grown, true-blooded dragons intact upon it.
Debris piles up everywhere, but an opening to a small room can be found to
the west.
