#3940, "a warrior version of Trance"

Aight, I think all classes get fast heal and mediatation right?
Only some mage classes get trance, why not give some warrior classes an enhanced version of fast healing?

Because we don't think they need it.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Whispers of the Great Siege.

To stack something else on top of this would be ridiculous, comparable to giving the dwarf healer with slow even more hp regeneration.

Warriors already have enough, seriously. The enhanced reflexes thing might actually make them too good.

All warrior classes get a form of fast healing already. For rangers it is called herbs. For warriors it is called berserk. Not to mention there is a legacy that gives you super fast healing and warriors already benefit from a greater hp bonus at hero and greater hp bonuses of their mage counterpart of the same race.

Thats part of my point.

For one, whispers has more affects then just a boon to regen, its not really a replacement for what I was thinking of, since it narrows your chocies down so much. All I'm saying is that it takes a hell of a long time for any warrior to regen 1000 hps than it takes most mages to regen 1000 mana.

Hit points and mana aren't equal. One is required, the other is not, necessarily. If it takes a long time for you to regenerate 1000 hp as a warrior, consider that as a mage, a hero shapeshifter will often get about 100 hp/round out of form. What's that, ten rounds or so? That's with slow, too.

In my opinion, giving more standard healing abilities to warriors
would impact the role of transmuters/healers/etc. Warriors can
make the legacy choice if they feel strongly about rapid healing,
and the benefit/cost of that choice is reasonable.

Apples to bicycle pumps

Hp is far far far more important than mana and warriors have better healing/hp than any mage.

You dont die when you run out of mana.
