- Cranial and Boneshatter care more about the STR of the user than they used to. - Concealed/Backfist/Swiftstrike/Riposte are less effective against someone that you're ganging - Black Duelist is slightly more helpful when casting Poison and Crimson Scourge (if it's applicable). - Rot is an effective counter to form regeneration and herbal regeneration. - Deaths to yourself or a mob shortly after fighting other player(s) are treated as a PK in all respects rather than as a mob death. If you have fought multiple players shortly before dying, currently the kill in this case is awarded to the player dealing the greatest damage to you in that short period. This may be refactored in the future to factor in immediacy of damage or other concerns.

That's not how it's supposed to work. I'll have to take another look at it.
Edit: Found a case I missed in exempting PCs from the death XP penalty -- hopefully it was the one that got you and this is FNCR.

Not sure if this is supposed to be exempt from an XP penalty?

You yell 'Die, Luthren, you sorcerous dog!' Luthren utters the words, 'wunsohar yarh'. A stabbing headache begins to grip you, but it quickly subsides. Luthren's mental jolt DISTRESSES you! You are incapacitated and will slowly die, if not aided. The juju zombie's scratch EVISCERATES you! You have been KILLED!!
You have died, but the Carrion Fields are not finished with you yet! Your soul is returned to the realms in the form of a ghost. You will return to your corporeal state in a short while. Be careful, for even a ghost should fear some dangers! You feel some of your vitality drain out of you with this death.

In theory it shouldn't apply one but the code might not be perfect yet.

Really cool!
By "in all respects" does that mean XP loss as well?

I didn't test that scenario, but my best guess is yes.

Nope. It's better than it used to be for high-STR characters and less good than it used to be for low-STR characters.

Does this change affect the success rate of the skill hitting or the actual affect of the skill (more or less -str/dex on bone shatter etc)?
I've always wanted to play the dexy dagger/mace combo. Guess its too late for that now!

Magnitude of stat loss and duration.
>I've always wanted to play the dexy dagger/mace combo. Guess >its too late for that now!
I think that's still probably a pretty good combo -- being a mace spec who dodges well is still great. But, now there's a bit more of a tradeoff.
