Orc, buying mercs and they vanish. This is the 5th one from in town. Mercs have been mostly from Galadon merc shop but also swarthy merc from Hamsah and Mino from Seantryn. They're 100% lost if I am disconnected but didn't expect them to do this in town.

This is actually a remnant of the role bug.

The ancient role bug, one of the trophies I hold highest in the Umishuli Code Fix treasure trove.

The role bug originally happened when you went to log in and got your password wrong while you had a mercenary/pet.

The ongoing issue was that a wrong password entry would wipe your merc/pet from you still.

I think I fixed that.

Just don't get your password wrong and I wouldn't have to do all this stuff, harrumph!

You didn't get disconnected, you quit.
And mercenaries don't always stay with you after you quit, that's normal.

Problem solved: don't quit.

I didn't know they would just leave kind of RNG like, on quit. The log was of quitting. But I didn't have the ones from disconnects. I've never kept one through a disconnect/void out though.
