Unlike you, I've played a conjie for many hours. In fact, several conjies.
The latest was Masigner. With the uber imp.
You cannot release from another continent. And that's just the start of your problems. I've had my familiar die when raiding outlander, for example, only to find a massive group waiting, and them killing the uber-imp before I could get back to the continent to release it (even with tesseract, and I do tesseract pretty close to the Arkham continent).
So whilst on this topic... it was rangers!
