This is something that has, embarassingly, gotten me killed 2 or 3 times in the past and I figured I'd toss it up here as a suggestion.

Can you make scrolling things (like MOTD, role, etc), clear out of "Press Enter to Continue" (or whatever it is) when you get into a fight? I try to remember to set scroll to 99, when I'm a newbie, but I've seen this abused in nightgaunt traps enough times to suggest its one of those cheap mechanical advantages slightly reminiscent of that rescue thing that was being discussed on the battlefields forum.

Not only is this a convenience for veterans, but, while trying not to throw the "Think of the Children" card, I do think it would be a minor advantage to people who are new who don't might hit 'm' and pull up the MOTD in the middle of a PK fight.
