Subject: 'The Theran Chronicle - Section One.'

As the Month of Long Shadows encompasses us, Thera twists with the new
developments (and sometimes the lack of it) in fields far and wide.

Politics and War.

Life is the raging river that has no charm when it stands still and thus
we all seem to flow with the waters and war. The most recent reports 
confirm that the Spire and the Battleragers are at war with each other.
The Drillmaster says that it was the Spire who started it and his
village shall not back down, lest they be mistaken as weak. The Spire's
Provost on the other hand confirms that it was the village who 
started the war by attacking the spire repeatedly in search for mages
and seemed to have to qualms by roaming as criminals without making
the slightest of amends for their unruly actions. Master Isabeux is
is of though that the war will end soon as 'The corpses pile and 
the village learns of its mistake'. Well said.

The Halls of the Spire and Village both seem to echo with fair numbers
and at the same time the Battleragers and Spire seek new blood too.
The Maran halls seem a bit dull during odd hours of night and day
without proper guidance since the passing away of the Late Cardinal
Captain and Marshall. They however still boast of a few fierce ones
who fight their war with the utmost of the capabilities.

With the crowning of a new Nightreaver: Master Dyneli, a sun-warden:
Master Xinrinthil and a new Harbringer: Lady Iia...those of the tree
are hell bent and intent on returning the lands to their state of
origin. Searching for like minded ones to join their cause and 
defending protecting and destroying those who oppse their beliefs.
The Empire on the other hand grows in might, too. With able sect leaders
Hunsobo the WarMaster, Thos the Dark Knight, Serisstian the Shadow
Lord and Waserax the High Priest, all under the mighty watch of the
once Emperor and now Empress Lady Kharghurln.

The Rift seems to ring empty as the waters of the sea spalsh against its



shores, with a marked drop in their numbers since the recent past. The
the Herald Family on the other hand is ever expanding. With children 
from cities and continents apart, each with their own flavour of joy
and revellry... The Heralds recently invited entries for a verse contest
and were overwhelmed by the response. The process of through judging 
has begun and the winners shall be announced soon.

verse, epic tales of their lifes or that of their Lords or Leaders should
