Prelude - I spent an hour raiding the Empire against Gvilond, finally tire him out enough that I kill off the council. Now he's returning the favor, attacking and recalling more or less constantly. Volkaen logs in, they make one attempt that I drive off, and on to their second attempt.

Part One: Versus Gvilond.

Standing majestically before you, this huntress calmly stands guard at
the watchpost before the bridge that leads to the ancient Tree of Ages.
She is a centaur with a coppery coat that blends well into the forest.
She is garbed in rugged leathers, and her flowing bronze hair is held
back by a woven leather headdress. Her hazel eyes are as keen as a hawk's,
and her tanned, coarse skin speaks of her exposure to the elements. In
her muscular arms she wields a mighty bow as long as her body, with a
quiver of arrows strapped to her back. Also at her side are several sharp
barbed javelins for use in her neverending hunt.
