Overlooking the Lands of Barovia
Standing upon a small outcropping of rock, you stare out over the
lands of Barovia. Behind you the cold stone walls of the keep stand
in an eternal vigil over these accursed lands. The wind whips around
you threatening to knock you down onto the broken rocks far below you.
A rutted dirt road leads down towards the forest to join with a cobbled
stone road that leads towards the village of Barovia. To the west can
be seen the large black gates of the keep. High atop the walls you
can see gargoyles perched upon each of the battlements in their
silent watch over the gates.
