Background:

Iroenyphe was born into poverty, and quickly orphaned after a hapless accident
by her drunken fisher father. Finding the Voralian orphanage too confining,
she became a rather poor thief for a gang of children beggars. This culminated
in a botched robbery - when the victim, a supposed rich merchant of Hamsah,
wrestled with Iroenyphe over her knife. After a rather chaotic brawl,
Iroenyphe arose in horror to find herself covered in blood, and her knife
sticking from the merchant's gullet.

That night, a guilt-ridden Iroenyphe was found by a mysterious, shadowed
stranger. It turns out the merchant had been an Imperial spy, and the Voralian
assassin's guild was under the mistaken assumption that Iroenyphe had *meant*
to kill him. They offered her a position in the guild, and being too
embarrassed to correct them, Iroenyphe became an assassin.


Traits:

- Iroenyphe has severe imposter syndrome due to the accident that preceded her
induction into the assassin's guild.

- Iroenyphe is unflappably cheerful, and polite - hoping to gloss over being
'discovered' as an 'imposter'.

- Iroenyphe smokes pipeweed regularly (a habit picked up from her
ne'er-do-well father), and is fascinated with discovering different strains.

- Iroenyphe has a fear of being underwater due to her father's drowning.
