Chapter 2

Jena has been living her life as a true student of her craft. She has
embraced the hard truths and sobering realities that someone in her line
of work must face. Science can be a cruel mistress, and Jena has had
to give good people bad news a few times too many. Still she dedicates
her life to duty and her science. Both entertwined, now, in a strange and
beautiful way. She works, often, on the battlefield. Taking notes when
she can. She spills her blood for a worthy cause, then she returns later
to collect samples and perform simple tests at the scene. As harsh as it
sounds, she wouldn't have it any other way. And Jena is making progress!

Through her tireless and diligent work, Jenaheim has made quite the name
for herself. The people know her as GoldenSage all over. She has also made
friends and companions being in the company of the Fortress of Light.
Yes. All of this, not only means Jena can walk with her head held a little
higher, but this also means further funding for her scientific endeavors.
She's not robbing anyone, but whenever she can she mentions her research,
and the work she hopes to do with the Lady Ishuli. People, naturally,
are generous when someone has a truly worthy goal. She has found not only
funding, as a member of the Fortress and Defender of the Innocent, but
she has also found logical safety in numbers, and good food, warm baths,
and other reasonable things any sane person should be entitled to.

Jena plans to continue her adventures, failures, successes, and everything
in between as a member of the Brigade of Light. She doesn't feel she is
using or harming anyone by simply pursuing academic research and scientific
progression like any normal soul would do, after all.

To that end, Jenaheim has put more effort, time, and energy into her
pursuits than the next man or woman. She is awake when others are asleep.
She does this because she cares about her research and she wants to see
it come to its full potential. She has been fighting with Air Elementals
ever since she could call them. She has studied them, measured them, everything
but burped them (although perhaps she should try), and she is only just
beginning.

Jena has already spoken with her guildmistress about becoming a 'Skykin'
with her Air Elementals. Jena plans to continue pursuint her guildmistress
on other information related to the subject. She has heard, recently, of
a school of study within her own guild known as 'Student of Air'. This
will likely be her next goal towards her research. Testing the new strengths
to go along with such knowledge.

Jena has piled up 4 criminal flags. She is a bit hurt, as she sees herself
as an Orderly and thoughtful person. But she has found herself making
choices that put her at odds with law enforcement. Jena hasn't quite
figured this one out yet.
