Chapter 10

For Thamuuk what happened when he was a child was both a blessing and a
curse, a blessing in that pushing his war against evil having lost his
family so early there is no immediate leverage that Evil can manipulate
to hold Thamuuk back. A curse as he will never truely know what part his
family would have played in the War. Questions that will go unanswered.

Thamuuk cannot however deny the profound impact his foster family had on
him, not quite knowing how to initially manage an infant dwarf, they in
all aspects and respects considered him a noisy elf. This opened up a level
of upbringing and training unlike any predecessors before him. It started
simply with hunting south of Darsylon, slowly over time he learnt more
and more of the elvish ways and more importantly the fighting styles.

Steeped in tradition Thamuuk always knew he would never become a member of
the BladeSong, it was to big a change to soon. However over the years and
through staunch defense of Darsylon, Akan and Mortorn eventually the elves
did soften a little, and offer blessing for Thamuuk to carry the name
BladeSong in acknowledgement of a life forged anew in the darkest depths
of war.
