Chapter 2

Eriagwen's father had a strange look in his eye and they immediately left the
lake to return home to the forest. Eriagwen was unsure about the whole
situation. He had never seen his father so encompassed by emotion and
disbelief. As they drew closer to home several hours later Eriagwen's cousin
met them upon the road.He was acting very strangely. He could barely walk
and was twitching with long convulsions, he could not control himself and
could barely walk.

After further investigation it became apparent that Twaldwen had drank from
the lake. Something in the water had tainted him. Another family member was
seen on the road shortly after.Eriagwen's uncle Farador. He had explained
that he had hunted a deer and had eaten some of the meat from the kill but
became ill shortly after.

It was all to obvious. The magical enclave of sorcerers on the lake had taken
control of the area and where destroying the waters, the food sources and
now...the very lives of Eriagwens people.

A war party was formed."To Arms...for Vengeance" was shouted by the wild
elves and their warrior kin. Magic was tainting the very lively-hood of
Eriagwen's people and for his clans very existence they had to destroy the
awful scar that had been bestowed upon their home.
