Chapter 3

Only eyes dedicated to the influx of mana
could begin to see the pulses of magic
being sucked out of the very air itself.
It was a very rare occurrence, solidifying
Thera's veil so violently that it not only
stopped mana flowing out, but also pulled
a slight amount of the very magic to itself
to simply sustain. This seizing of raw power
tugged at the diameter of the trapped time
bubble, shrinking it just enough for the
long-horned man bull to trot forward, out of
the stable to fall onto the ground in pain
and exhaustion.

Made and trapped by magic, yet freed left
to live by that same magic. Ohbehb soon found
himself in dire straights. He learned quickly
how to forage for himself, as he could just
sustain off the very leaves of the trees and
the grass of the ground, or even what creatures
he could catch, though the blood at times left
him heated and ready to crush and charge. In
time he even picked up rough language, and
began to learn of the history of his man made
people. Torn, trapped, tortured and tormented
Ohbehb loved and hated at the very same time.
His very life was a lie, every breath might
bring sudden unexpected loathing. It was not
long before he found himself drawn to the
barbaric bloodthirsty bloodshed of the battleragers.
