Chapter 6

Narissorin lifts his left hand to brush the light growth of hair
along the line of his jaw.

Narissorin whispers 'My my, in the name of he who watches all, the
Eye himself, this is brazen and almost absurd.'

Narissorin whispers 'But darker secrets have come to light, I have
watched them myself.'

A hush falls over the area as Narissorin adorns himself with a
cloak of diaphanous shadows!

Narissorin whispers 'I want to know why any of this matters to you,
Haphellna.'

Narissorin says 'Explain to me, why YOU should care.'

Narissorin slowly pushes his hair to the back of his neck, tying it
in place loosely with a thin strip of leather.

You say 'Because I barter my existence to uncover truth and power.
And what I deal with is about a matter not of undeath or death. But
existence among the powerful, most cannot fathom.'

Narissorin whispers 'And what drew you to want power.'

Narissorin whispers 'Why does such appeal to you, to risk your very
soul?'

Narissorin peers at you intently.

You say 'My desire to know and see, the truth of it. I cannot say
its because I wish to slay thousands, as if some token prize'

You say 'But for the desire and knowledge. I am a scholar, after
all'

Narissorin whispers 'A scholar of the forbidden, a scholar of death
despite life, and a scholar as you say, of the very same guildhall
I myself have found a place within.'

Narissorin whispers 'Intriguing.'

Pausing to think, Narissorin ponders what you have done.

Narissorin whispers 'I shall study what I can, concerning what you
have stated.'

Narissorin whispers 'And I shall watch, you are now of the favored
Haphellna.'

Narissorin whispers 'But you must prove yourself.'


Now among the favored, whatever that is to mean.. Haphellna has spoken briefly with
both the Chancellor and their Advisor on the Chasm. Zameida has made mention to
Haphellna that her workings have caught some intrigue and consistantly seeks what
progress has been made.

The current quest Haphellna shall attempt has been been made with her pledge to
the Chasm. A tiring and perhaps fatal risk. It is kept secret as to not have
what the Coven would consider a defilement be known. For it will take quite some
magical and personal strength that Haphellna works for.

So far her life has been filled with bitter battles. Each fall, especially to
Varks, has proven just how much more she must learn. These simple feats only
drive her completely mad to achieve and do better. For such simple battles must be
used to grow from and strengthen from. For they there are much bigger feats to
endure and face. And she must be ready.
