Sort of a two-part move:
1) Six alternatives added to Cleave. Morosa's Charge, Vault, Faceslash, Enervating Spirits, Crippling Strike, and Lashes of the Slave provide options for weapons other than swords and axes. They are themed around abilities that combine the magical nature and brutality of the Anti-Paladin's guild- teaching things that most warriors would not teach, or could not do, owing to a lack of magical training. Some of them also emphasize aspects of the class that don't get a lot of attention in the prior ability set, including the much lamented DEX statistic.
2) Power Word Despondence in, Magic Missile out. Magic Missile doesn't exactly scream "anti-paladin", and is redundant with their low-level repertoire in many cases- most anti-paladins skip practicing it, actually. PWD is part of a future trend- Power Words make sense in the AP guild, since they're often swinging weapons and having less room for fancy gestures and such. Also, it's themed around breaking down an enemy's will to fight, which fits in the class a lot more than some of their oldest spells. It's reasonably specialized, but there's definitely situations where it's very handy.
3) Vault-ing is fun for all parties involved.
4) Discussion? Anger? Kudos? Confusion? Take it to Gameplay, not here. Doing my part to keep the Announcements board tidy and concise.
