#1167, "Eight new low-level mage spells! One new bard skill!"

I'm on hold with "Making Stuff Count, Part Two" while its sub-projects get carefully done by a couple people, and this came out of the free time:

1) Mages no longer get the Ventriloquate spell, as we didn't think it fit their class themes well at all. (Invokers keep the more suave Whispering Wind.)

2) Bards have gained a skill called Mimic which some might claim is suspiciously similar to Ventriloquate. This is nonmagical, and themed around using misdirection and vocal talent to convince others that someone else is talking.

3) Invokers no longer get the Faerie Fire spell, and instead get Flare, a more invoker-flavored spell with a similar function. It deals damage, however, which is often a plus and sometimes a minus.

4) Necromancers have gained Torment Spirit and Ghoulish Numbing, two offensive spells that fit better within the class's theme and provide some situational low-level ranking help.

5) Transmuters have gained Crack Flesh, an offensive spell useful for adventuring alone or in groups.

6) Conjurers have gained Sighttheft, a scrying spell which vaguely resembles the thief skill Peek.

7) Shapeshifters have gained three new defensive partial shifts to supplement Shell of the Armadillo: Chitin of the Crab, Hide of the Rhino, and Scales of the Crocodile. Each is most useful against a different variety of physical attack, with Shell of the Armadillo filling a more general role by being "sort of good" against all. In addition, shapeshifters may now have two partial shifts up-- one of the 'armor' kind (any of the four listed above), and one of their others.

A couple low-level spells have also had the level at which you get them shuffled slightly, to keep smooth progressions for the classes.
