Mapping, 100% mapping.

The one thing that the current #1 mud has going for it, in my opinion. Is the custom interface that they have, it opens a main window, another side window with all communication and a third window with a map.

That is awesome to me. To be completely honest, I have never rolled a char there but from my observations of their "engine" it looks pretty awesome.

Btw, I don't know why we don't have a patreon page to hire someone to remake CF code. I see many many! creators getting sponsored with thousands of dollars every month for rpgmaker games (I even sponsor a couple myself). If it works great for porn, why wouldn't it work for mud addicts? :D
