Explanation of his legacy choices

His first choice, was to Greet the Avalance. At the time he had no clue what
he would study next within the Order...but he knew that his place in the war
was as a Soldier. And what is a more common picture of a Giant warrior than
a massive mound of flesh charging into battle against his foes, using his
weight and size to crush them underneath. Thus he chose is first studies in
the Order.

By the time he obtained enough learning to attempt further studies in the
Order, he was beginning to understand that a mindless soldier was not exactly
what the Light needed in this war. Thus he began to think hard on how he
might grow inside his head, to attempt (however daunting the task seemed to
him) to become more intelligent, as it were. And what other than Magic is
connected with high intelligence throughout Thera. Once he understood that,
his final choice of studies in the Order was clear...and he began to study to
use magic as much as any warrior can.
