It burns, it burns!

Not less than a month later, Llovris ventured to the surface
to seek out a master of necromancy to try to learn more about
life, death and everything in between.

Llovris didn't last long on the surface. His skin did not handle
the harsh sunlight well. The searing light causes his skin to
break out in rashes and burns that weeped like a baby weeps
for its mother. When speaking with the guildmaster about this,
the guildmaster told Llovris of all the hidden bones that lie
scattered around the Underdark. He could remain under the
surface and use these bones as his own personal graveyard.
So back down into the safety of the Underdark Llovris went.

After a few weeks, he decided to seek out Kteng and his
Laboratory. Carefully avoiding the cavefishers, Llovris arrived
at the shrine that signaled the entrance. Skillfully avoiding
the spider and stone golems, he was able to gain entry into
the inner sanctum of the Laboratory to have an audience with
Kteng itself. Kteng was no undead that Llovris has read of; no
wight, no mummy, no lich.. but a wraith!

Desperate to find out more about the process of becoming,
Llovris became an acolyte of Kteng and began studying all
the necessary processes for such a transformation, under
the tutelage of the immortal Kteng.
