A Different Path - The Sounder Of the Alarm

As she traced elemental runes in her study Eynwil paused momentarily
as her shield of air reacted to something unseen. Shaking her head
thinking she had imagined something she returned to her studies but
she could not focus with the nagging thought that something was not
right. Opening the door to peer down the hallway, her air shield
was assulted from all directions it was then she noticed the faintest
whiff of sulphur in the air. A whiff that was not one of the more usual
smells of the forge but something far more sinsiter deep within the
mountain. Suddenly springing to a run the word "Graazur" hiss past her
pursed lips. As she begins to build pace through the halls of Mortorn she
traces a rune around a slender elven arrow before drawing her longbow in
one smooth motion and firing it out a window to the west.
