Thoughts On War

How we cope in the chaos of the battlefield depends on many factors.
One code of conduct exists on one's home turf, a modified code on
an allies home turf. One set of rules exist on one's enemies home
turf and a modified set on another enemies home turf. Codes of conduct
also vary as allies and enemies alike vary in both personal and numbers
for and against. As we grow older we recognise the differences more,
and by becoming more flexible and adaptable there is greater success
on the battle field for the greater good.

Before battle lines are drawn people oftehn look to their leaders for
direction, but in war there can never be one true figurehead that has
all the answers. Each must be willing to feel the security of recieving
good leadership and the satisfaction of giving leadership as the battle
ebbs and flows. To have at the most critical of moments when your life
is delicately balanced, to feel a sense of belonging and at the same time
give your strength to another when you are at strongest only to recieve
it in equal measure when you need it most. It is in the balance of all
these often contridictions on the batlle field where Harmony and Victory,
will be found.

War is not for everyone, the vast majority of people wish to live in
harmony with others, to achieve a balance between privacy and satisfying
there need for social interaction and security. In acceptance that the
balance of contridictions is weighted heavily against themselves, often
there beliefs cast to the side over the burden of a body of ideals not
their own. It is for these people that Thamuuk fights.
