An Inglorious Arrival

Kira stepped into the city of splendors, Galadon, city of Galadriel not as a
hero of the stories nor to the fanfare of trumpets.

She came up from the sewers.

Smelling, starving, and staggering into the surface world. She crashed into
the closest bar from the Large Intersection. Hoping for water, food,
anything...

Paying no attention to the broken stairs of the decrepit Manse or the cobweb
ridden bar she half fell and collapsed against. She cried out, pleading for
soup or water or anything from the bartender whose back was towards her.

Slowly the bartender turned to look at her. Kira only could feel confusion on
her face staring at the dark-elf one-eyed bartender after she had traveled so
far from those like her and him.

"Does this look like a soup kitchen", he snarled?

Dumbly, Kira nodded... right before a massive backhand knocked her across her
head with brutal force.

"Welcome to Galadon", snickered the bartender over Kiras unconscious
form as he turned back to the task at hand.
