136, More Blood? More Blood for the Blood Gods?

Blood trails will be in on the next reboot. Basically, certain abilities can create visible blood trails either immediately (being hit with a Vault), or sporadically over time (any of the numerous ways to get prolonged bleeding). Some points:

1) If you have the Track or Assess skills, or you are an orc, you will sometimes be able to see some extra detail from a blood pool. To most people, they all look the same, though this may still be useful as a "Hey! Some bleeding guy was here recently" mark.

2) NPCs do not make these. This is basically a shortcut to limit the number of them, esepcially because the non-cosmetic effects of these all only apply to PCs.

3) They're somewhat rare in general, though a fair number of abilities (including some very hard normal hits) can make them. They also decay after a little while, like body parts. Various effects can make you more or less likely to be bleedy- the speed of your metabolism, etc.

4) We have more in the works which will take advantage of the infrastructure. Watch this space!

--Will animal forms be able to get the best extra details from blood
trails? It only makes sense, and would add a nice little utility skill
to the old bite/rake/gore strategy.

Seems reasonable. I'll talk with our Shifter Guy and see what he thinks is the easiest way to do it.
