Right around when I started, there was a (widely held?) belief that having a damage roll over 25 was detrimental to a character's saves if they didn't have the enhanced damage skill.

Was this some odd Hasturian number crunching gone wrong, true but something that was fixed/changed, or pure CF urban legend?
