Fireshield did not wear off.

The whole item conflict thing is something I did not think of at the time and is entirely possible. We can blame zharradam if that is true!!!

On Darkmists there was the ASTRIP or affects strip command which would remove all affects without the player seeing anything. I know because we "borrowed" the Ceran (IMP) character and stripped a few players at an unfortunate time for them :P

Given Muubai was a warrior (that does not use warcry) he probably had no affects other than fireshield anyway and would not have noticed missing other stuff.

It is either due to item conflict, some other freak bug or imm action.

It is a shame muubai did not save his logs...
