I read that you can't check roles if the player is not active. I think it would be a win-win quality of life improvement if you can.

Reason 1 (for you): Imms can read and rate roles at their leisure. Don't have to drop whatever you were doing to check that player that only briefly logs in, don't have to worry about a player logging out when you haven't finished checking entries yet. Read when it suits you, not necessarily us.

Reason 2 (for us): No risk entering a role contest and not being able to actually compete, because your times do not overlap with the hosting Imm. Don't have to worry about entering the contest just before a vacation either.

This request comes from a misunderstanding of something *I* said in the discord, so I'll clarify here.

Imms CAN read roles while players are offline. This includes for role contests.

Imms DON'T rate roles while players are offline. Since you won't get any of the goodies you probably want from it.

We have no desire to change that.

If you want your role rated - just play your character, be around, and it'll get rated.

Back when I first immed, we had roles that hadn't been rated for months. We currently aren't having that issue, and I don't see many unrated roles (at all) that have been waiting even 7 days.

So there isn't a problem, and nothing about this needs fixing.
