#443, "Nreisshe Ralsh Mtien and the Eternal Hunt"
Edited on Sat 16-Sep-06 06:04 PM

The deafening roar of the Ancients reverberates throughout the land.

There is a shimmer in the sky, and the form of a massive arctic bear and a great grey wolf dance like ghosts, painting a picture of a spirit's hunting ground.

Nreisshe looks up into the sky, eyes glimmering.

Nreisshe trembles with clear anticipation, flexing her ethereal paws.

The spirit of Nreisshe ascends, flanked by a pair of ravens once known in their mortal lives as Harbingers, escorting the feral felar to the afterlife.

Nreisshe lets out a faint, contented sigh and fades into the thin air.

A great storm giant and elven figure appear in the scene, sounding their warnings. The Sunwardens cry, "This is what you have assured for yourself, Nreisshe, what you shall be doomed to endure."

The scent of blood and earth and the howl of feral creatures welcomes the spirit of the Nightreaver to her Hunting Grounds of Eternity.

In response to the warnings of the Qing and Arminas, Nreisshe only smiles.

The ancient Nightreaver Malkhar points to the scene and says, "Your own Thar-Eris, Nreisshe. You have earned it."

An impish voice tells Nreisshe, "I will be with you soon, but I have some carving to do on the totem of the Tree of Ages."

The sound of wood being worked is heard in the Forest of Prosimy along with the occasional sniffle.

With a graceful bound, Nreisshe leaps into scene in the sky, begining her Eternal Hunt.

The scene and the Ancients fade away, shrinking into a starlit point.

It flares and is gone, leaving only the scent of blood and fear in its wake.

#444, "The Reaverhood of Krynna Krysss"
In response to Reply #0

And just as the weak emerge from their hiding places after the ascention of Nreisshe Ralsh Mtien, they find that the unpredictable claws of Krynna Krysss has taken her place.

Woodland wayfarers whisper word of the fela that shadowed the pawsteps of the Nightreaver in her final days, learning the ways of the wily huntress. There was almost an affection between the two cruel cats, who were said to speak and whispers, stalk wood and mountains, and even sunk their claws into each other's flesh in gleeful lessons of violence. Though Nreisshe was stronger and certainly no less spry for her age, Krynna held her own and exhibited a strength in her own right.

It should come as no surprise to these wayfarers then, that it is Krynna who is now known as Nightreaver, ripping the heart from the chest of the Blood Tribunal Executioner within hours of Nreisshe's death.

Even the wild and the wicked pay tribute to the fallen.
