#691, "this is one of the things I use a client for"

if I type "ll" it will enter the following commands:
l n l e l s l w
I do up and down manually if necessary, but normally it is possible to deal with these by process of elimination.
In my client the alias is done as follows:
/alias ll {look n;look e;look s;look w} {new}
The new is just that when I save the group "new" all commands with that appendage are saved and can be loaded as a group rather than reentered individually each time I run my client.

#699, "I use my client for the same purposes. Request is still..."

That's still damn six commands instead of one. Assume you do it during the fight, and look for direction to retreat, or something. It's also difficult to make client indicate every direction, so that when you get all six messages you need to think some before you guess which direction is the right one.
